Firstly we visited 'Scenografia International' which is a set design studio run by Roberto Ciambrone specialised in designing and constructing sets for mainstream Italian films, premieres and venues. Roberto spoke to us in a lot of depth about the work he has done, the time it took to accomplish his targets and showed us what projects he is currently working on.
As a group we thought that this has been a very successful day, this is what some of us have said...
"The sets we saw today were absolutely brilliant and it's inspiring for me as an aspiring set designer to see how some professional sets for mainstream projects have been constructed" -Valentina
"I found it quite fascinating to see something that looks so realistic could be just fibre glass and polystyrene" - Jamel
"It was a really good experience to see how things are done behind the scenes because when you are watching a film you'd never guess the amount of work it takes to create the scenery" - David

Later on we went to the biggest film studio in Europe based in Cinecitta' and outside we saw some really amazing outdoor sets in which some of them have been used in worldwide famous films such as 'The Passion of Christ'. Also they built replicas of city's such as Ancient Rome, Venice and New York.
